H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with support from experienced teammates. You will explain tax concepts clearly and identify savings opportunities, earning by the hour during tax season.

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office with training from day one and the potential to grow tax knowledge and earnings as you progress.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly
• Problem-solving skills with ability to organize information and find solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend products and services
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork
