Job summary

H&R Block, Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to start a career in tax and client services. With training from day one, you’ll gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions while building strong client relationships.

This in-person role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to increase earnings during peak periods. You will meet with clients, prepare returns with guidance from teammates, explain tax information clearly, and help identify savings

Qualifications

Customer service experience required.
Excellent communication and the ability to ask clarifying questions.
Ability to explain tax information clearly to clients.
Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a client-friendly manner.
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
Collaborate with teammates to support office priorities and deliver a client-first service.
