H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join a local tax office in person. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with coaching from experienced teammates. You’ll explain tax concepts clearly and identify potential savings opportunities to help clients maximize their refunds.

This role emphasizes client service, teamwork, and adaptability during peak tax season. Training is provided, and there is room to grow as tax knowledge increases and performance

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
