H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our in-person tax office. You will meet with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions with guidance from experienced teammates. Training provided, and you can earn additional earnings as you expand tax knowledge.

The role emphasizes client service, clear explanations, identifying savings opportunities, and teamwork to support office priorities. Evening/weekend availability during peak season may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
