Job summary

With training and support from day one, you’ll work directly with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions while building valuable skills and strong client relationships.

This in-person role is based at a local H&R Block office. You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with digital tools including Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with support from teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products and services.
• Collaborate with team to support office priorities through teamwork and client-first service.
