H&R Block in Rhode Island is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience required; you’ll learn on the job and have opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge. The position is in-person at a local H&R Block office with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment with customers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
