Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll assist clients with gathering information, preparing returns, and answering questions while building client relationships and tax knowledge.

No prior tax experience is required as training is provided. The role offers an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as knowledge grows, and requires evenings and weekend availability during peak tax season.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
