Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare accurate tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

You’ll explain tax details clearly, identify savings opportunities, and recommend relevant products and services, while building strong client relationships and contributing to team goals. No prior tax experience is required; training begins on day one, with opportunities to increase

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is required.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem solving: organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent.

Responsibilities
