H&R Block seeks a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations, prepare accurate returns, and uncover savings opportunities using our training and technology. Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, or bookkeeping including individual/business returns
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse, complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and life changes
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive client-focused office environment
