Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1.
• Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience, including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS and applicable state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, then advise.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest HR Block products.
• Provide IRS guidance and audit support as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain a positive client-focused office.
