Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Advisor to prepare individual and business tax returns and guide clients through complex tax situations. You will interview clients, identify tax savings opportunities, and deliver client-focused service using our training and technology.

This in-person role offers competitive hourly pay and an incentive plan, with path for growth in tax and financial services. Prior experience in tax/advisory roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPA/EA or IRS credentials valued.
• 2+ years in tax preparation or advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a client-focused office environment.
