H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Advisor to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations. You will interview clients to understand finances, offer personalized tax recommendations, and help identify savings opportunities, supported by our training and technology.

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, with a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan based on performance.

Formación

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Must complete continuing education and meet all IRS and state requirements.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individual and business returns.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications, then provide clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities and related H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
