Job summary

Candidate Experience site is seeking a Seasonal HR & Recruiting Coordinator to support HR and Talent Acquisition during a high-volume seasonal ramp at the Carol Stream Distribution Center. This temporary role assists with onsite hiring events, candidate experience, and pre-employment/onboarding for seasonal warehouse associates.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about recruiting, candidate engagement, and operational support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting hiring events, recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, or staffing operations.
• Experience with First Advantage or other background screening platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume hiring environment.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
• Experience coordinating candidate communications and tracking recruiting activity is highly desired.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support onsite hiring events for seasonal warehouse associate positions.
• Assist candidates through the hiring and onboarding process.
• Coordinate and administer pre-employment activities, including drug testing and background checks.
• Candidate documentation and attendance tracking.
• Communicate with candidates regarding hiring status, onboarding requirements, and start dates.
• Maintain accurate recruiting and hiring records using tracking tools and spreadsheets.
• Support recruiters and HR partners with scheduling, reporting, and administrative activities.
• Ensure compliance with company hiring practices and pre-employment requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and business partners.

Seasonal HR & Recruiting Coordinator (Temporary)

Location: Carol Stream, IL (Onsite)
Duration: Approximately 3-4 Months (Seasonal Assignment)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule Options

Candidates may choose the shift that best fits their availability:

• Monday - Friday: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Tuesday - Saturday: 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Position Overview
