Job summary

St. Anthony Summit Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a seasonal assignment in Frisco, CO. You will assist in the operating room under surgeon and RN supervision, maintain sterile technique, and support efficient case turnover.

On-call coverage and schedule flexibility are required as part of this fast-paced surgical team. The role requires a Surgical Tech certification (NBSTSA or NCCT), BLS, and active Colorado DORA registration; prior OR scrub experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program.
• Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
• Current Colorado DORA registration as surgical technologist.
• NBSTSA certification or NCCT certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest sterile technique and ensure package integrity.
• Count instruments with circulator before, during, and after procedures.
• Prepare back table and mayo stand per surgeon's preference card.
• Set up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment and meds.
• Provide on-call coverage outside standard hours as required.
• Anticipate problems and prepare for emergent cases.
