Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and mentally alert; able to stand, walk, sit, lift, kneel, reach, handle, think, reason, and calculate as needed.
• Consistently display a positive attitude and professional behavior with members and team members.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages or ability to obtain.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work full-time days Monday-Friday and commit to the entire summer season.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Compliance with state-specific licensing requirements, if applicable.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Lead campers through their weekly camp experiences.
• Develop friendships to ensure each child feels connected to the camp community.
• Complete daily opening and closing procedures, including safety logs.
• Communicate daily with parents, team members, club members, and the Camp Site Director.
• Understand and communicate the specific needs of campers, including safety and behavioral concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and good repair of all camp areas.
• Arrange coverage for sick days and communicate planned absences prior to the season.
