We're hiring SUBSTITUTE Swim Instructors!

Do you love being in the water? It's OK if you're not a fantastic swimmer, but you do need to be excellent at passing on knowledge to kids. We're looking for energetic individuals who are open to learning and can make learning fun. If you have a strong passion for working with children, then we're the place for you.

If you want a flexible work schedule, this position is ideal. You can choose your working hours, especially on weekends.

Instructors are rewarded based on their performance; the more students you teach, the higher your earnings. We also offer a monthly bonus for higher renewal rates.

Job Description

A Waterworks Aquatics Swim Instructor primarily teaches private and semi-private lessons to children and adults, aiming for rapid progress while ensuring students have fun.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of students, coworkers, and yourself
• Deliver high-quality swim lessons
• Record student attendance daily
• Communicate concerns and feedback to management
• Complete weekly training assignments

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Passion for working with children
• Reliable and committed
• Ability to tread water and lift up to 50 lbs
• First Aid, CPR, AED Certification (Infant, Child, Adult)
• Teachable, respectful, outgoing, motivated
• Receptive to feedback and adaptable
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and team player
