Job Title: Sales Associate

Primary Purpose:

The successful candidate will leverage their retail expertise to:

  1. Client & Service Excellence: Achieve sales goals, develop product knowledge across categories, deliver an exceptional Kate Spade experience, and build personal connections with customers using effective selling skills.
  2. Leadership Presence: Meet personal sales targets, demonstrate extensive product knowledge, collaborate with store management to enhance selling culture, and participate in business-driving events.
  3. Building Brand Equity: Communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and lifestyle, build strong client relationships as a brand ambassador, relay client feedback to improve service, and adhere to company policies with integrity.
  4. Operational Excellence: Perform store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and security measures.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to contribute to an elevated selling culture
  • Elevated personal style

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in luxury retail or a similar environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Physical requirements include:

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders safely
