Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Team Member to support store operations during peak periods.

You will assist with merchandising, freight, front-end operations, and customer service across sales floor, stockroom, and receiving areas to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for a great customer experience. This seasonal/temporary role does not guarantee ongoing employment; opportunities may arise for regular part-time or full-time positions as openings occur.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Strong verbal, written, and comprehension skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and processes.
• Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and ethical behavior in all interactions with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports store operations during peak business periods across multiple areas (sales floor, front end, stockroom, receiving).
• Assists with merchandising, freight, front-end duties, and customer service.
• Keeps a clean, organized, well-stocked environment and delivers a customer-focused shopping experience.
• Performs cashier and front-end duties, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
• Processes freight, sorts, stocks, and replenishes merchandise per guidelines.
• Performs store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Completes assigned tasks within established timeframes.
• Supports shrink reduction, safety, and loss prevention initiatives.
