Job summary

Buckle in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Store Support Teammate to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests and support the Store Manager with daily sales tasks.

Your duties include greeting Guests, processing transactions at the POS, maintaining displays, learning current promotions, and keeping the store clean and welcoming. Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts is required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and be equipped to answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Complete Guest transactions by operating the Point of Sale (POS) software and bagging purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Assist merchandising tasks such as preparing displays, organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Consistently maintain a clean, organized and shoppable store.
• Fulfill Buckle’s mission statement by performing duties with high Guest service and positive team spirit.
