Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Seasonal Stocker to support store operations by stocking merchandise, organizing inventory, and keeping the sales floor and backroom clean and well-stocked. You will help prepare merchandise for sale and contribute to a great customer experience.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays, and teamwork to ensure accurate inventory flow. Compliance with Cavender’s policies and a focus on safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to safely use store equipment in accordance with company policies.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to comprehend basic instructions and read documents in English.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise to the sales floor and backroom following company standards.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, tagging, and placement before stocking.
• Maintain clean, organized backroom and sales floor.
• Assist with transfers, special orders, and returns as directed.
• Support merchandising projects and store presentation standards.
• Report safety or inventory concerns to management.
• Assist customers and direct to the appropriate associate when needed.
