Job summary

Kirkland's, Inc. in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Stock Team Member to support freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment, including price changes. The role requires a high level of organization and urgency.

No experience is required; the position may involve lifting 45 pounds, weekends and evenings, and climbing ladders. You will help ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner and support brand standards.

Qualifications

• No experience required; stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and Manuals.
• Ability to work a schedule to meet store needs (early mornings and off hours).
• Ability to lift/move 45 pounds or more regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to lift and move bulky merchandise regularly.
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb and lift to stock and retrieve merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise safely and efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining an organized stockroom.
• Assist in assembling product, executing markdowns and stock replenishment.
• Support driving profitable sales, protecting company assets and adhering to the Handbook.
• Take personal accountability for individual performance.
• Treat customers professionally, support branding and dress code.
• Maintain commitment and support for company initiatives.
• Take initiative to ensure shipments are processed timely.
• Report to shift with professional, positive attitude.
