Job summary

Taos Ski Valley, Inc. seeks a Licensed Massage Therapist to provide massages and body services to resort guests in The Spa, following professional protocols and state licensure.

The role emphasizes guest care, product knowledge, and cleanliness of the treatment space in a fast-paced alpine environment. Eligible candidates hold a current NM massage license, have strong guest-service skills, and can work weekends/holidays/evenings.

Qualifications

• Current & Valid New Mexico License in Massage Therapy.
• Licensed and practicing massage therapy for at least 10 years.
• Customer service experience, preferably in a spa or private practice.
• Growing knowledge of various spa treatments/services and alternative massage modalities.
• Literacy in anatomy, common injuries, health conditions and medications.
• Ability to explain treatments/services and educate guests on target areas visited.
• Must manage time, maintain an organized workspace, and handle multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform massages and body services per established protocols and licensure.
• Assess contraindications and modify services as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment room and equipment daily.
• Recommend products and after-care for at-home support.
• Provide information about spa packages, hours, and offerings to guests.
• Attend scheduled trainings, meetings, and company orientations.
