Job summary

Landscape Design Concepts is seeking a part-time seasonal Snowplow Operator/Driver in Middletown, NJ. The role supports commercial snow and ice management by operating plows and salters and following assigned routes to keep sites safe during winter events.

You must be on-call during the season, with shifts varying by storm duration, weather, and site needs. Experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating snowplows, salters, or similar equipment is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate proper equipment use during the interview.
• Valid driver’s license and at least three years of driving experience.
• Reliable transportation to sites and a smartphone for communication and reporting.
• On-call for snow events throughout the winter, including nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow and salter equipment safely at commercial properties along assigned routes.
• Clear snow and manage ice on parking lots, roadways, driveways, and entrances.
• Oversee sidewalk crews and assist with shoveling when needed.
• Inspect equipment before, during, and after events and maintain fluids, fuel, and attachments.
• Communicate with site supervisors and use a smartphone for reporting.
• Pick up equipment and travel to sites as directed by a supervisor.
• Follow procedures to complete work safely and maintain safe site conditions.
