Job summary

Utah Olympic Park in Park City, UT is hiring a Snowmaker on our Mountain Operations crew. As a Snowmaker, you’ll run guns, hoses, pumps, and snowmobiles to turn winter weather into world-class terrain.

This is physical, technical work on a tight-knit team. Seasonal, full-time position with graveyard shifts during active snowmaking; hours from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of snowmaking equipment (fan guns and air/water systems).
• Ability to operate snowmobiles and side-by-side vehicles.
• Ability to traverse steep, high-elevation terrain in extreme winter conditions.
• Mechanical aptitude and a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Most days, you’ll be on the mountain making snow, setting up and moving guns, running hoses and pumps, and keeping equipment serviced and running clean.
• Snowmaking is part of the job; you may help prepare a race course or build terrain park features and pitch in on carpentry or general infrastructure projects.
• When snowmaking season wraps, you’ll shift to venue maintenance and hosted competitions.
