Job summary

MoDOT is seeking an Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator to support snow removal across several facilities in St. Louis City and County, St. Charles, Franklin and Jefferson Counties.

These are entry-level positions performed under direct supervision, with hourly wages by season starting at $20.00, $21.11 for season 2/3, and $22.37 for season 4. Overtime and night work may be required. CDL is mandatory.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates plow trucks to clear snow and spread ice-control materials.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
