Job summary

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking multiple Temporary Snow Plow Operators in and around Midwest, Casper, Douglas, Wheatland, Chugwater and Lusk to perform winter snow plow operations and highway maintenance under limited supervision to provide a safe, high-quality, efficient transportation system. This is a temporary, full-time position that could last up to 9 months.

• Operates snow plow and related equipment safely and proficiently.
• Removes snow and ice from roadways and applies materials as needed.
• Flags traffic and sets up traffic control devices under limited supervision.
• Operates single and tandem-axle trucks equipped with plows, wing plows, a sander, and chemical systems.
