Job summary

Pacific Air Forces is seeking a Seasonal worker for Hillberg Ski Area at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. The position is not-to-exceed 15-May-2027 and is flexible with 0–40 hours weekly according to facility needs.

Responsibilities include operating snow-making equipment, maintaining safety and lifts, and assisting guests. Basic maintenance and park duties are required, with heavy equipment handling and safety procedures emphasized.

Qualifications

• Foreign education: education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
• You must show evidence when applying.
• It is your responsibility to provide such evidence and have it deemed equivalent to U.S. education.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow-making equipment and position snow guns to produce quality snow; assist in sustaining lifts' safe operation.
• Operate snowcats, snow-making machines, chairlift, rope tow, trucks with snowplows, snowmobiles and other tools with proper safety.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on ski lodge vehicles and equipment, including minor repairs.
• Document and report mechanical or safety issues to supervisors.
• Help manage guest flow, ensure proper ticketing locations, and assist in loading/unloading on the lift.
