Job summary

Goldmark Property Management is seeking a Snow Shoveler for Glen Pond to help maintain safe, accessible outdoor areas at our residential properties.

The seasonal role runs from September 30 through May 15 and pays $22 per hour. You will remove snow with a shovel or snow blower, apply salt or sand, and ensure walkways remain clear for residents and visitors. Hours may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior snow and ice removal experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate snow removal equipment.
• Must have reliable cellphone connectivity for work apps.
• Ability to travel to various sites.
• Prompt and regular attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow accumulation using shovel or snow blower for several hours as needed.
• Remove and prevent ice build-up on walkways using an ice chopper, salt, sand, or a combination of the three.
• Be available whenever it snows to keep walkways clear of snow and ice.
• Place removed snow in appropriate locations, avoiding piling it on trees, shrubs, or hydrants.
• Responsible for using supplies and equipment within safety standards and reporting any safety hazards identified.
• Refer resident requests, comments, and/or needs to your manager as appropriate.
• Provide courteous communication and customer service to residents you encounter.
• Early morning, evening, and weekend work is required at times.
• May be responsible for maintaining cleaning supplies and requesting re-orders of supplies, as necessary.
• Understand and follow all OSHA and our company safety standards for work you perform.
