Job summary

Donovan Property Service, Inc. is hiring snow shovelers for the 2026-2027 winter season to keep sidewalks and entrances clear and safe.

You’ll join a crew under a site supervisor, with shifts called on short notice during storms, including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays. No experience or driver’s license is required, but you must be at least 18, capable of lifting 50 pounds, and have reliable transportation to the region.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or license required; a driver’s license is a plus.
• Must lift and carry at least 50 pounds repeatedly during a shift.
• Seasonal, on-call shifts with unpredictable hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to the region for short-notice shifts.
• Proper boots, gloves, and cold-weather clothing for every shift.
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manually clear snow and ice from sidewalks, entryways, stairs, and other pedestrian areas.
• Apply salt and de-icing materials by hand as directed.
• Follow directions from the site supervisor and work with crew to keep pedestrian areas accessible.
• Arrive prepared for every shift with proper boots, gloves, and cold-weather clothing.
• Report on-site hazards and safety concerns to your crew lead.
