Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking Retail Management staff for the Winter 2026/2027 season in Wisconsin. You will lead daily store operations, supervise payroll and scheduling, and act as manager-on-duty as needed, while ensuring top-tier guest service and knowledge of products.

The role requires 1–3 years of retail management experience, ski industry familiarity, and strong English communication. Housing is not provided; the position is winter seasonal with full-time shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience (1–3 years) preferred in ski retail.
• High School Diploma or GED; business training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, monitoring performance and budget including scheduling and payroll; act as manager-on-duty in the absence of a Store Manager.
• Maintain daily store records for performance, sales metrics, inventory control and equipment rentals.
• Hire and train employees in POS operation, product knowledge, guest service, sales techniques and loss prevention.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback and direction with recognition or corrective action.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and deliver excellent customer service through timely responses to inquiries and feedback.
• Participate with leadership forums providing input on store performance and training.
• Other duties including merchandising and rentals.
