Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring Lift Operators at Beaver Creek, CO. Join the Lift Experience team to support guests with safe loading/unloading on a multi‑million‑dollar lift machine in premier mountain terrain.

No experience is necessary, as comprehensive training is provided. The position starts at $20.00/hr with flexible full-time/part-time hours, housing availability, and benefits like employee passes, discounts, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

No experience is necessary; we train all lift operators.
Must be able to make quick decisions and use judgment regarding safety.
Must be able to multitask and anticipate issues.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor safety of passengers during loading/unloading of lifts; manage lift speed as needed.
Operate lift to ensure optimal chair capacity according to Lift Experience guidelines.
Proactively notify maintenance/dispatch of repair or maintenance needs.
Work closely with Lift Maintenance to learn proper operation of lift equipment.
Implement emergency procedures as required, including contacting Patrol.
Set up/disassemble lift maze daily according to maze standards; maintain a safe work area.
Follow and perform all company and departmental policies and procedures.
