Job summary

Loveland Group is seeking a Certified Ski Instructor for weekend and holiday lessons. Seasonal full/part-time roles require PSIA certification and the ability to teach all ages with safe, fun instruction.

Pay ranges from $21.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and level of certification. Housing may be available for full-time staff, with various duties across mountain operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to instruct children and adults.
• PSIA Certification Level 1, 2 or 3 and maintain skills to current level.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand in extreme weather.
• Ability to clearly explain concepts to all ages.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes and private lessons with safety, fun, and learning as goals.
• Follow Loveland training materials for instruction and wrap-up.
• Assist students with equipment and mounting/dismounting lifts.
• Demonstrate skiing maneuvers including loading/unloading lifts.
• Possible instructor training as assigned.
• Follow children-focused procedures in Loveland materials.
