Job summary

Amer Sports is seeking a seasonal After Sales technician in Ogden, UT to assess warranty claims for Salomon, Atomic, Armada and other brands. The role involves inspecting products, communicating results to dealers and consumers, and supporting the service center operations.

You will handle daily duties in the center, create SAP orders to credit or replace products, and assist the customer experience team across Salesforce, phone and email.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 6 months related experience—ski shop or outdoor sports retailer preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• SAP and Salesforce knowledge preferred, but not required.
• Basic Mechanical and Repair skills.
• Ability to become Salomon/Atomic/Armada Certified Binding Technician.
• Ability to become Forklift Certified.
• Strong reading and logistical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient decision making and problem-solving skills with multitasking and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Assess warranty claims for Amer Sports brands through product inspection.
• Communicate outcomes with dealers and consumers via email/phone.
• Inspect product returns and decide warranty coverage or denial.
• Create orders in SAP to credit or send replacement products.
• Support the customer experience team by responding to inquiries via Salesforce, phone, or email.
• Manage non-inventoried spare parts and organize them for boots, bindings, and skis.
• Perform day-to-day duties in the service center, including cleaning, shipping, and receiving.
• Assist brand and category leaders with various projects in the service center.
• Ongoing review of warranty orderbook to ensure fulfillment of orders.
