Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Servers at Detroit Hockeytown Restaurant in Detroit, Michigan. You will be the face of the dining experience, greet guests, take orders, and ensure guests receive friendly, efficient service throughout their visit.

This tipped position emphasizes accurate order entry, responsible beverage service, and collaboration with kitchen and bar teams. We offer weekly pay, development opportunities, and flexible schedules to fit events and seasonal demand.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing is required.
• At least one year of experience as a server in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• Previous experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment preferred.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide menus, clearly communicate restaurant specials, answer questions about menu items, collect orders and serve items.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately so kitchen and bar staff can prepare items.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, check IDs, and follow alcohol policies.
• Prepare and deliver checks, process payments, and handle guest requests throughout the visit.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen, and bar staff; help with opening/closing as needed.
