Columbia Hospitality is seeking a Seasonal Server at Hotel Leo to provide exceptional service during holiday events and live music. You will take and serve orders, upsell items, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

Start Date: November 16, 2026. End Date: January 3, 2027. Eligible perks include daily pay, health benefits, 401K, and lodging discounts for staff. Join a values-driven team delivering unforgettable experiences this season.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant environment.
• Ability to operate a computerized POS system.
• Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
• State Food Handler’s License and Liquor Serving Permit(s)

Responsabilités

• Takes orders and serves food and beverages to guests per standards.
• Enters orders into the POS system and relays special requests to the kitchen.
• Assembles food items and ensures attractive presentation and correct temperatures.
• Keeps knowledge of menu items, changes, and sold-out items.
• Processes guest payments using proper accounting and cash handling procedures.
• Maintains a clean and organized dining area.

What Success Looks Like:

Your Impact

• Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
• Enters orders into computerized Point of Sale system and communicates any special requests to the culinary team
• Assembles food items, such as appetizers, salads and soups
• Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages. Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
• Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes and sold-out items
• Processes guest payments, using proper accounting and cash handling procedures
• Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized

What You Bring

• Previous experience as server in a similar restaurant environment
• Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
• Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
• Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
