Job summary

The Station on Main in United States is seeking a Server (Counter Service, on call) to provide attentive dining experiences. You will take orders, use the POS, and deliver food and beverage items while ensuring guest satisfaction and a tidy station.

We offer $10 hourly DOE, a hiring bonus program, daily pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401K. Rotating weekends off and no overnight shifts are part of our team‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as server in a similar restaurant environment.
• Ability to operate the POS system and take guest orders.
• Knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
• State Food Handler’s License(es) and Liquor Permit(s)

Responsibilities

• Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to guests.
• Enters orders into POS and communicates special requests to kitchen.
• Assembles food items (apps, salads, soups) and ensures proper presentation.
• Maintains knowledge of menu offerings and items in stock.
• Processes guest payments with proper cash handling procedures.
• Keeps dining area clean and organized.

What Success Looks Like:

Your Impact

• Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
• Enters orders into computerized Point of Sale system and communicates any special requests to the culinary team
• Assembles food items, such as appetizers, salads and soups
• Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages. Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
• Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes and sold-out items
• Processes guest payments, using proper accounting and cash handling procedures
• Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized

What You Bring

• Previous experience as server in a similar restaurant environment
• Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
• Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
• Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
