Job summary

Eataly is seeking a seasonal Server to coordinate the service station and ensure a dining experience that exceeds guests' expectations. You will greet guests, present menus, relay orders via POS, and collaborate with hosts, kitchen staff, and bartenders.

This on-site role includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with compensation described below, and requires lifting up to 50 pounds. Seasonal work runs mid-October through the first week of January.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu
• Informs guests of specials, menu changes, answers questions regarding food, beverages and allergies
• Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system
• Communicates with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stations
• Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests
• Assists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware
• Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
