Job summary

Production Agriculture & Seed Operations in Rushville, IN is seeking a Production Technician for seasonal day shifts across receiving, harvesting, conditioning, warehousing and shipping. The role focuses on safety, attendance and reliable performance to keep seed quality on track.

The position requires comfort with PLC automation and Microsoft Office, with duties spanning packaging, inventory, and equipment operation. Seasonal schedule may include overtime with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
• Willingness to work long hours and rotate shifts.
• Comfort with data entry and using Microsoft apps.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Support seed production plant operations across receiving, harvesting, drying, conditioning, packaging, warehousing and shipping.
• Assist with harvest and receiving activities such as truck unloading and weighing and dryer operation.
• Help maintain seed supply to Conditioning and support shelling and storage in the dryer facility.
• Perform seasonal packaging and inventory tasks including labeling, tagging, bagging, palletizing and data entry.
• Follow quality and safety requirements while performing general maintenance and warehouse support.
