Job summary

1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Security Officer for Obetz, OH (2nd shift). The role is seasonal, hourly, Monday–Friday 4:00 PM–11:00 PM, 35 hours per week, based on campus security operations.

You will monitor CCTV, access control, and dispatch systems to protect employees and assets, conduct routine patrols, document incidents, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with HR and Legal to enforce company policies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of security or related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated reading comprehension and report-writing skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, access control, and dispatch systems to identify security concerns.
• Patrol parking lots, building exteriors, and property to enforce policies.
• Prepare incident summaries and reports using company systems.
• Respond to emergencies and assist during medical incidents.
