Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Kodiak is seeking a Seasonal Seafood Processor to join the Kodiak Processing team. This role processes various seafood products while meeting quality, food safety, and production standards.

The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality products. Compensation ranges from $17.63 to $17.91 per hour for full-time seasonal work.

Qualifications

• None required.
• Preferred: prior experience with food processing equipment.
• Preferred: prior food safety experience.
• Preferred: prior experience in a processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Model teamwork and apply The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork).
• Inspect and grade product.
• Walk to picking tables and collect tips.
• Place product in containers or on conveyers.
• Run tips through tip machine and collect the meat.
• Weigh and clean product.
• Sanitize work area and equipment.
• Place product in proper packaging as instructed.
• Assist with workspace, plant clean-up and upkeep.
• Adhere to sanitation and product quality policies.
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors and leads.
• Maintain plant safety at all times.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
