Job summary

The Coral Springs Police Department invites applications for a Seasonal School Resource Officer assigned to an elementary school. The officer will support the safety and security of students and staff under the guidance of a Police Sergeant and paired with a full-time School Resource Officer.

Minimum requirements include full-time certified law enforcement experience and Florida certification within one year if not currently held. A take-home vehicle is provided for official duties.

Qualifications

• Must have prior full-time certified law enforcement experience.
• Florida certification must be attained within the first year of employment if not already active.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security at the assigned elementary school.
• Work with a full-time School Resource Officer to support duties and authority.
