Qualifications

• Clean driving record per IdahoDOT requirements
• Must be 25+ years old for school bus driving
• Must pass DOT physical and background checks
• Must read/speak/write English
• Tuberculosis clearance required
• Proof of auto insurance
• Pedatric First Aid and CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide school bus transportation for children and others
• Comply with traffic laws and safety regulations
• Operate and inspect a school bus
• Review routes, schedules, and maintenance manuals
• Submit reports and inspection logs
• Conduct bus safety drills and evacuations
• Assist center staff and volunteers as needed
• Maintain bus and facility cleanliness and minor repairs
