Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Sales Teammate to support our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests. You will perform cashiering, merchandising, and standard store operations while delivering legendary service across the sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.

In this role you will greet Guests, answer questions, and recommend merchandise tailored to their needs. You will also assist with stock, displays, and maintaining knowledge of current promotions.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies on payments/exchanges, and security practices.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales and total net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service across Front 5, sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
• Help Guests try on or fit merchandise and check out and bag purchases.
• Prepare merchandise for alterations and know exchange/return procedures.
• Use the Sales Presentation Guide (SPG) daily to accomplish goals.
• Meet or exceed Buckle business builders and guest loyalty targets.
• Place Special Orders or call other stores to find merchandise.
• Build and maintain guest relationships for a client-based business.
• Understand Buckle’s customer service expectations to meet Guest needs.
• Perform leadership actions and maintain standards even when management is absent.
• Support Recruiting and Development activities for teammates.
• Create relationships through Guest Loyalty and Guest Preferred programs.
• Maintain professional conduct and a positive floor culture.
• Present merchandise to maximize sales and turnover.
• Stay current on product range and solicit product feedback.
• Identify improvements and new ideas with teammates and Guests.
• Ensure the sales floor is properly sized with new freight displayed.
• Communicate policy violations or concerns to Store Manager and HR.
