Job summary

Harry & David in Oregon is seeking a Seasonal Customer Outreach Marketing Associate to drive outbound sales calls and upsell products. You will deliver product and service information, close sales, and resolve issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have recent sales experience and outbound sales ability.
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
• PC literate with 35 words per minute typing.
• Ability to stay organized and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior call center experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by outbound calls using prepared sales scripts to upsell products.
• Provide customers with product and service information and follow up to close sale.
• Move the customer past browsing to engaging/closing a sale.
• Manage multiple systems including predictive dialer, order entry and customer service systems.
• Handle orders and issues and update changes into system of record for resolution.
• Identify and escalate issues, feedback and trends to the appropriate resource/department.
• Meet or exceed performance standards for each campaign.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding customer orders, account and company information.
• Communicate verbally and in writing to promote dialogue and build rapport.
• Maintain empathy for the customer’s situation and deliver world class service.
• Meet company goals and metrics and participate with the team.
