Job summary

Coastal Farm is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate for a 120-day assignment in Washington. You will provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers with locating products, operate the POS, and help with merchandising and housekeeping to maintain store standards.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills, can adapt to changing tasks, and are comfortable with computer systems and email. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find the location of products.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain constant radio communication with all associates.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
• Maintain awareness of product knowledge and promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed.
• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the department.
