Southern Tide, LLC in Nantucket is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to assist with daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience that supports brand positioning. You will engage customers with product knowledge, maintain store appearance, and collaborate with the team to reach sales and service goals while staying flexible for varied hours.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of retail experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

The Seasonal Sales Associate has the responsibility of assisting with the daily sales of the Southern Tide retail store. The Sales Associate is expected to provide an exceptional customer experience that will drive sales and embrace brand positioning.

Crew Position

• Understand the overall concept of Southern Tide, including the lifestyle, the customer, the merchandise, etc.
• Create an exceptional in store experience consistent with company culture.
• Build and cultivate effective relationships with the customer Commit to deliver an optimistic, high energy, team oriented and sunny store atmosphere
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge with customers; providing prompt recommendations and professional service to enhance their shopping experience (e.g. fit, fashion wardrobing advice and suggesting add-ons)
• Actively participate in all store-related meetings, working towards exceeding sales and service performance goals set by store management
• Maintain high standards of the store appearance
• Provide ideas to grow and improve the business
• Maintain the integrity of the inventory

Pay Range

Pay Range: $16-20 per hour Pay is based on multiple factors, such as qualifications/skills/experience, geography, and state and local wage laws. In addition, bonus and/or commission and benefits including healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and product discounts may be offered. *This is a seasonal/temporary position*
