Job summary

Southern Tide, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to assist with daily store sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with our coastal lifestyle brand. You will help build relationships with customers, share product knowledge, and support in maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Strong customer service, a team mindset, and flexibility for varied hours (including nights and weekends) are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 0–1 years retail experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily sales in the Southern Tide store.
• Provide exceptional customer experience in line with brand standards.
• Build relationships with customers and maintain store appearance.
• Share product knowledge and upsell appropriately.
• Participate in store meetings and drive sales and service goals.

The Seasonal Sales Associate has the responsibility of assisting with the daily sales of the Southern Tide retail store. The Seasonal Sales Associate is expected to provide an exceptional customer experience that will drive sales and embrace brand positioning.

Responsibilities

• Understand the overall concept of Southern Tide, including the lifestyle, the customer, the merchandise, etc.
• Create an exceptional in store experience consistent with company culture.
• Build and cultivate effective relationships with the customer.
• Commit to deliver an optimistic, high energy, team oriented and sunny store atmosphere.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge with customers; providing prompt recommendations and professional service to enhance their shopping experience (e.g. fit, fashion wardrobing advice and suggesting add-ons).
• Actively participate in all store-related meetings, working towards exceeding sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Maintain high standards of the store appearance.
• Provide ideas to grow and improve the business.
• Maintain the integrity of the inventory.
