Job summary

James Avery Artisan Jewelry in Longview, TX is seeking a guest‑focused team member to assist customers with merchandise selection and purchases on the sales floor. You will demonstrate strong service skills, enter guest data into the POS, wrap gifts, and help maintain store presentation.

You will repair, polish or solder jewelry, share product knowledge, hit personal KPIs, support management in achieving store goals, and participate in meetings.

• Box and wrap sales for gift presentation.
• Achieve individual KPIs and assist store management in meeting KPI metrics.
• Assist with store maintenance and housekeeping and attend required meetings.
• Demonstrate strong written/verbal communication, attention to detail, and multitask in fast-paced environments.

The main duties of this position are to greet and assist the guests in their selection and purchase of merchandise. What You Will Be Doing

• Demonstrate effective guest service skills and resolves guest issues effectively.
• Enter guest data and other sales data for guests into POS (sales, returns, special orders, engraving, repairs) completely and accurately and obtain proper signatures on guest sales.
• Present jewelry from stock/cases to guest and replace items in correct areas when sale is completed.
• Repair, polish or solder jewelry.
• Utilizes GUESTS program when interacting with guests on sales floor or phone and when handling guest owned jewelry.
• Provide knowledgeable service to guests on product information utilizing in-store tools/training.
• Box and wrap sales for gift presentation.
• Achieve established individual Key performance metrics.
• Assist Store Management in achieving store Key Performance Indicator Metrics.
• Assist Store Management in meeting company standards in overall store presentation.
• Assist with daily housekeeping and maintenance duties.
• Attend all required meetings.
• Consistently demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail and a high degree of organizational skills.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
