Job summary

Five Below is seeking a customer-service oriented associate to greet customers, answer questions, and promote store events. You will handle transactions, assist shoppers with product knowledge, and work with the team to meet store goals.

The role requires flexibility to cover day, evening, weekends, and potential overnight shifts. Training will be provided, and accommodations are available if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on- the-job training

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly.
• Understand and meet customer needs with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management regarding merchandise restocking and feedback.
