Mind Games in the Mall in Columbia, Maryland is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team. You will greet customers, answer questions, and recommend products while delivering exceptional service.

This seasonal role offers a $16.00 per hour pay rate, store discount, casual dress, and a team that loves games and pop culture. The position requires 1+ year of sales or retail experience and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or retail is required.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of customers.
• Ability to multitask, respond to competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Passion for or knowledge of pop culture, games, toys, collectibles, and board games is preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, build customer confidence, and recommend products based on their needs while providing exceptional customer service.
• Operate the POS system, accurately process payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
• Restock products and help maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
• Develop strong knowledge of the product lines carried by the store and confidently answer customer questions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing guidance on product selection, usage, care, and maintenance.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor while assisting customers efficiently.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and loss-prevention requirements.
